The Style Evolution of Lady Gaga

We are all aware of Lady Gaga's extreme and outlandish fashion sense. Whether you describe it as creative or creepy the Lady knows just how to grab our attention. I personally dread to see what she steps out in next. Her shocking style makes me cringe everytime.

However, saying that, I've noticed that recently the "Fame Monster" has been sporting some very tasteful designs!

Could this toned-down look have something to do with the recent collaboration with her sister to launch a "wearable" fashion line?

Who knows? When it comes to Lady Gaga's evolving style, you can never predict what to expect next from the Fashion Monster!

The Blake

As if Karl Lagerfeld approaching her to be the face of Chanel wasn't enough of an achievement in Blake Lively's life, she now goes and gets a pair of Louboutin shoes named after (by no other than Christian himself!!)

Here's Blake's version of the story on how she got the name:

I went to [Louboutin's] atelier and I was walking around, like every shoe here is so beautiful and I saw this one pair and I said: “I’ve never seen anything like it.”

He said: “Do you love it?” I said: “I want to sleep with it under my pillow every night.”

He said: “We’re naming it the Blake then.” It was insane. It’s like my greatest accomplishment.”

Nickelodeon's Red Carpet Fashion

The starlets came out again for the 2011 Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards dressed in a mix of clean, fresh and neutral dresses and accessories.

One of my favourites was Selena Gomez looking very young, hip and trendy in a geometric tank and short ensemble by Christian Cota. THe Hilton sisters kept it in with the season's trend of ivory lace and so did Miley Cyrus with a floral maxi dress by Dolce & Gabbana. Heidi Klum tried to look uber-chic in an embellished number by Gucci.

Amongst the presenters were Kardashian sisters Kim and Kourtney whose styles couldn't be any more different! Kourtney looked flirty yet feminine in a goddess-like coral dress while Kim looked like she was heading to costume party dressed as a milk maid or even Little Bo Peep?!?!? Too much cleavage yet again Kim....remember it's a kids' event!!

Kourtney the Lawyer????

Kourtney Kardashian makes her acting debut on ABC's soap "One Life to Live" as lawyer Kassandra Kavanagh - with two K's!!

The acting was a disaster and the storyline must have been written by a 6 year old?!?!  It was torture watching it. Don't say I didn't warn you......

Crap and Cheesy - with two C's!!!

And what was with the obviously fake punch Kourtney?? She should have got Scott to show her how it's done!!

Did anyone actually enjoy watching this??

Celebrity Trend: Back Zippers

The latest trend to hit Hollywood is the exposed zipper up the back of the leg. We see it on jeans and leggings and it certainly is an eye-catcher. It's a great way to spruce up any outfit and make a style statement.

The recent SAG awards brought out some of the most glamorous stars onto the Red Carpet. Of my favourite were Sara Hyland (Modern Family) , her co-star Sofia Vergara and Black Swan beauty Mila Kunis.

But when these ladies are not glamd up for events they like to keep it comfy and trendy. So which designer do they turn to for that casual chic look?

Bee sting or Botox??

Have you noticed that in recent sightings of Kim Kardashian her whole mouth area is looking a bit swollen?

Oh dear lord please don't tell me Kim Kardashian has had some sort of surgery done to enhance her lips? After seeing the reaction that botox gave her on an episode from KUWTK you would think she would stay away from needles!! She has beautiful full lips that don't need any work done to them. It kind of makes you question whether or not she has had those rumoured surgeries done to other parts of her body. (nose, breasts, butt.....)

Working out with Birkin

Gone are the days when we used to stuff all our gym gear in a specially designed Nike gym bag. Now it seems the newest celebrity trend is to glam it up at the gym with a Hermes Birkin bag!

But if you haven't got the tens of thousands of dollars to buy one of these beauties then we have found the next best thing - the canvas Tote version! The canvas tote is the latest fashion craze and celebs have been spotted everywhere carrying these bags.

So designers have stepped up and started creating fashionable variations of these eco-friendly carriers. Here are two of my favourite designs which have taken the Birkin bag to another level!

I love the glossy look of these screen-printed version creating a very realistic almost 3-D effect. The image has even been cleverly printed on all sides of the bag including the back and bottom to give teh full look of a bag. Unfortunately these bags have a 3 month waiting list and we love them so much that we're going to get our name on that list!

Kim UnKovered!

Hey dolls! It's that time again to get a sneak peak as to how these glammed up celebs look without their make up on. Today we will look at the famously made-up Kim Kardashian. It's 10:00 am and we see her with her signature smokey-eye makeup in a slinky dress running out of Starbucks!! This girl piles on so much product on her face you'd think she was trying to hide something - when in actual fact she doesn't need to! What do you think?

Kim suffers from dark circles and uneven skin tone and she admits that she can never leave the house without concealer. So it makes sense that she uses make-up to improve the look of her skin but she can apply it in moderation and still look beautiful. Problem is, once you start wearing that much make-up on your face you'll feel naked and vulnerable without any on!

Well if you thought that image was bad then check her out when she went all blonde on us....not a good look for her.

Kiddie's Kloset!

I think Megan Fox is about to start a new craze....Here she is pictured out with husband Brian Austin Green and her 8 year old step-son Kassius, but if you scroll down you will see another picture of her taken a few days later. Can you spot any similarities???

That's right....she is wearing her stepson's t-shirt!! Now I remember a time when I was slim enough to pop into a Gap store and buy t-shirts from their kids' section. But after having three children I'm no Megan Fox!!

This is not the first time she has been spotted borrowing from her stepson.

Here she is photographed stepping out in the same Star Wars t-shirt previously worn by Kassius. I'm sure she was thinking "how could I wear a nerdy sci-fi t-shirt but still look hot in it...hey, I'll wear one two sizes too small for me!!" Well all I can say is if you can pull it off and look as cute as her then why not.

Celebrity Trend: Ankle Zipper jeans

This 80's comeback trend seems to be a big hit amongst celebs!

The addition of a zip at the ankles creates an edgy, sexy look to the jean and is a great way to change up any outfit. This style is so versatile you can create many looks from it. Add killer heels and a leather jacket to create the 'rocker' look or tone it down by pairing it with an ultra-femme top and pretty ballerina flats. This type of style also makes for a great day to night transition. The best way to wear them is to make sure they are cropped. If the length goes slightly past the ankle then you can always unzip them slightly to fit over your shoe.

Not only does this girl get to wear gorgeous outfits all day long on set of Gossip Girl but now she gets to carry around the most incredible handbags in the world - what more could a girl ask for??

Palermo for Mango

It seems Mango have chosen "The City" star Olivia Palermo and her model boyfriend, Johannes Huebl, to be the faces of their recent ad campaign.

I think those two are a great choice - they really look good together. It must be nice to spend time with your boyfriend and get paid for it at the same time! 

Trend Alert: Red-Hot shoes

Celebrities have been walking around with alot of red on their feet! I love this colour on shoes and the brighter the better.

Trends to 'dye' for

Hey Dolls! Here's another new post which I will be featuring regularly - celebs without make-up. Now seeing images of these type always make me feel normal again. Having to see glamed up faces on magazine covers all the time can be tiresome to try and match up to. And let's face it, we don't all have the luxury of make-up artists on our beckon call. So to bring you all back down to reality, here's what they really look like.....

We all know that Alexander McQueen's designs were nortoriously recognised for his use of skull prints and it looks like this trend has a line-up of famous followers. Artist/designer Lauren Moshi has created a superb line of graphic print tees and tanks featuring the skull image.

One of my favourites is the 'Skull Chain' tank which has been spotted on Lindsay Lohan and Khloe Kardashian. I love the gold accent foils that Lauren uses - it gives it such a glamorous feel! Wear it with dark skinny jeans, a white blazer and gold pumps for a night out or dress it down with denim shorts and open-toe booties. This tank is so versatile the style choices are endless.

The Aviators

You all know by now that the Ray Ban aviator is the biggest trend to hit Hollywood. Celebs everywhere are sporting these ultra-cool shades. They are the perfect accessory which go with just about any outfit.
